The large verandahs extend the full perimeter of the building providing an excellent vantage point for viewing the playing fields.
The building structure consists of structural steel, brick and reinforced concrete. The retaining walls on the West side of the ground floor required strict waterproofing regime. Construction access had to be coordinated around the schools movements to avoid disruptions and potential hazards. This mainly affected material deliveries and concrete pours however the project was completed without incident.
